About Melanie:

Melanie works primarily in FitzGerald Legal & Advisory’s private client and commercial departments.

She has a broad range of experience advising individuals on a variety of matters including Wills, the administration of Estates and the creation and registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney, and all aspects of residential conveyancing.

Melanie also deals with employment law disputes, advising and representing both employers and employees in both contentious disputes and non-contentious matters.

In her commercial practice, Melanie advises banks, financial institutions and receivers in connection with property transactions.

Melanie Evans graduated with a BCL degree from UCC in 2002. She also holds an LL.M. in European Law from University College London. She was awarded a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland in 2010.

She received a certificate in Child Law from the Law Society in 2013.

In April 2007, Melanie was part of the winning team representing the Law Society of Ireland at the Louis M Brown International Client Counselling Competition hosted by the University of Sydney.

Melanie is a trained Collaborative Practitioner.
