Noel is a partner with FitzGeralds Solicitors at 6 Lapps Quay, Cork. He has a thriving practice in the areas of employment law child law and family law.

Noel is a co-founder of the Irish Association of Collaborative Practitioners (ACP), a trained mediator and collaborative practitioner and he provides ADR solutions to a wide variety of clients.

Noel represents the HSE in public child law cases and has been appointed by the Courts to act for Guardians Ad Litem for troubled children detained in secure facilities and children subject to Care Orders.

Before qualifying as a Solicitor, Noel worked as a secondary school teacher and in various capacities in industry and he draws on his wide experience to help clients find practical, economic and sustainable solutions to their problems.

Noel has been involved in designing and delivering numerous trainings in collaborative practice on behalf of the ACP and The Law Society of Ireland. He has also presented on various topics for the Law Society Law School, the Cork Family Lawyers Association and University College Cork.

Noel is a former Chairperson of the Cork Anti-Poverty Resource Network and has strong links with community work in Cork. He is also a former Chairperson of the Cork Family Lawyers Association.
